Wireless Setup. Launch your web browser on a computer currently connected to your FiOS in-home network. In your browser's address bar, type in "192.168.1.1" without quotes and press enter. Connection Method. Set the method for connecting to the Internet. This setting is available only on PS3™ systems that are equipped with the wireless LAN feature.
Mar 28, 2008 · In the playstation firmware, go to network options and set the wireless connecton manually. Make sure all the settings are correct. Otherwise connect the playstation up with a cable and see if there is still problems. If there is still trouble then it would be a wireless dns problem.

I also set up a PS4, and process was easier and worked - just get a list of wifi signals, pick one, and it then connected to it. The PS3 wasn't as easy.
